Mayekawa Nordic Privacy Policy 

This privacy statement explains how Mayekawa Nordic (hereinafter – we) handles personal data collected on our website. We value your trust and want to make sure that you understand our policies and practices regarding the data protection. Therefore, we encourage you to read this privacy statement.   

1. Mayekawa Nordic commits to protect your personal data  

We are committed to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR1). We use appropriate technical and organizational measures in such a manner that personal data processing will meet the requirements of the national and European Union laws and will ensure the protection of your rights.

2. What personal data we collect via the contact form on our website 

We collect the personal data you provide by filling in the contact form on our website. This personal data includes:  

  • Name  

  • E-mail address   

  • Location  

  • Phone number  

  • Company 

 

3. What personal data we collect when you apply for a job 

When you send us a job application, we process the information with the aim of assessing the applicant in relation to a specific job. 

  • The processing of personal data is based on legitimate interest based on a balancing of interests. 

  • Categories of personal data and their source: Contact information, application, and general CV information such as education, experience etc. are processed, so it is naturally expected to be included in a CV. Only the personal data that the applicant himself forwards is processed. 

  • Recipients of personal data: The personal data might be shared with an external recruiting company and our management in Mayekawa Europe NV.  

  • Storage of personal data: Personal information is deleted within 6 months after a refusal has been given, if there is no further dialogue. If you submit an application for employment, the application + CV is saved on the employee profile in accordance with the deletion deadlines on this. 

The collected personal data is not used in connection with either automatic decisions or profiling. 

4. Legal basis for the processing  

We will only process your personal data if we have a valid legal basis. We will process your personal information:  

  • for the performance of a contract or to take pre-contractual measures;   

  • to comply with all legal or regulatory provisions to which we are subject;   

  • for reasons relating to the legitimate interest of Mayekawa Nordic, such as direct marketing and Christmas cards. When we carry out this type of processing, we strive for a balance between our legitimate interest and your privacy.  

We make sure to obtain your permission every time it is required.  

5. How long we keep your personal data   

We will not retain your personal data for longer than it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy statement.  

6. To whom we will disclose your personal data and where we transfer your data  

Your personal data may be shared with other entities of the Mayekawa Group, including those outside of the European economic area.  

In addition, Mayekawa Nordic may use the services of third parties (e.g software providers). These parties might be located outside of the European economic area and will be required to process your personal data in accordance with Mayekawa Nordic’s instructions and to maintain reasonable level of security for your personal data.  

When transferring personal data outside of the European economic area, Mayekawa Nordic will use appropriate transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions and the performance of a contract/precontractual measures.  

7. Your rights  

If you know or suspect that we are processing personal data about you, you have a number of rights in relation to the processing. The individual rights are detailed below. 

Should you choose to assert one of your rights, e.g. by asking for insight into which personal data we process about you, you can contact us via e-mail at contact@mayekawa.dk. Once we have received the e-mail and subsequently verified the identity - to ensure that we do not hand over personal data to unauthorized persons - we initiate the process. 

  • The right to access: You have the right to ask for insight into the personal data we process about you. If we process personal data about the person, we provide information about this, as well as purpose and legal authority. 

  • The right to object: You have the right to object if you disagree with our processing of the personal data. Whether an objection is complied with is assessed from time to time. 

  • The right to ask for limitation: You have the right to ask that we limit the processing. If we process personal data, in certain cases you can ask to have the processing restricted if you do not want all the registered data to be included in the processing. 

  • The right to request erasure: You have the right to ask to be deleted. This right is not final, as certain data cannot be deleted due to other legislation or whose agreement and purpose gives the company the right to store the personal data.  

  • The right to ask for rectification: Should the personal data we process be incorrect, you have the right to have this updated with correct information. 

  • The right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format. Please note that this is only about the personal data you have provided to us.  

  • The right to withdraw consent: If the processing of personal data is based on consent, then this can be withdrawn at any time, whereby the processing ceases. 

  • The right to complain:  You are always welcome to contact us if you have questions or wish to complain about the processing of your personal data.
